Experimental Cathode Apparatus / Light Object XAR-1 is a prototype light object inspired by speculative lab instruments and fictional aerospace devices. Built around the H-tube by Dalibor Farny. Engineered from stainless steel and brass, its open framework holds the glowing vacuum element in taut suspension—like a signal, or a memory from a future that never arrived. As a functional object, XAR-1 inhabits the space between analog display technology, mechanical aesthetics, and science fiction design language. Length: 50cm, 20″
